06:59 pm - More moving

My back was fine the next morning, my knee in need of a bandage but functional, and my shoulder not hurting more than the previous weeks, so, more schlepping stuff.

I had breakfast first, and then went with Ceridwen to the household goods market in town, because I needed some of these things that you don't get anywhere else. I also bought a silicone muffin baking tray. Let's see if it works better than the metal one, where I need tools to get the muffins out.

To my immense relief, mad_freddy and K___ were there when we came to Gwydion's place, so were P____ and her daughter. We didn't finish, but at least we ran three loads to the new flat and made a noticable dent in the heaps of stuff. But we all noticed that we did not have the energy levels or sheer strength of yesterday. And it was even hotter, more than 30°C. When we made a break after (for me) 90 minutes, my hands were shaking so much that I had trouble using a fork. We called it a day at 5:30. I have sore muscles all over, especially in my upper arms and lower legs, but nothing feels damaged, so from a workout perspective I'm quite content. From the work-to-do perspective not so much. I feel really bad about leaving Gwydion in that much chaos.

Anyway, now the housework has to be done, and tomorrow it's Monday again, so back to tasks a week overdue -- I was determined to finish them Friday, but the server froze and blocked all the data, and after 8 pm there's no way to get to the server.

I need a vacation.

K__ and myself are not much better off: we both don't like to go up or down any steps at the moment, our legs got more than enough workout for a weekend. This morning was not too kind - cycling to work is never much fun (going back home is much more fun...), but aching calves and drizzling rain definitely make it worse.
But we tried our best and I'm sure we'll have some reward for this, at least karma-wise ;-)
